Speaking of pointless 12″ remixes

August 1st, 2008 · 2 Comments

Remember the other day, when I was talking about pointless 12″ remixes?

Here’s a really good example:

Survivor - Eye of the Tiger (extended mix)

Definitely not one to listen to while operating power tools or heavy machinery.

Ooh- ooh! I just recently downloaded a crookeds remix of ACDC’s Thunderstruck.

    Pointless? Perhaps.

    Awesome? Absolutely!

I just realized I mighta sounded grumpy on this one…that really wasn’t my intent :-)

My RSS feed has been messed up though, so perhaps a bit of ‘tude slipped in because of that!

Anyway…..now that you mention AC/DC, I have definitely heard some wicked rock remixes…..AC/DC, Van Halen, etc……

The above isn’t in the awesome category….it’s basically a remix that they put no thought into….I mean seriously, they looped the guitar opening for like a minute and 20 seconds plus…who can take that?

I’ll have to look that AC/DC mix up…you’ve been saying good things about the Crooked stuff!
