For all of the times that I heard this as a kid, I never really gave a thought as to how it was manufactured. I LOVE this…and if you’re a Beatles fan, chances are good that you will too.

Anthrax and Testament announce 2012 tour dates
Good news if you missed Anthrax and Testament – they’ll be continuing their run with additional tour dates together in 2012. “The first leg of the tour with Testament and Death Angel was an amazing way to end a great year for Anthrax,” remarks Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, “and it went above and beyond my […]
2012 Rock Hall Inductees Announced
I’m mostly okay with this list, when considering the slate of nominees (yes, there are lots of bands that should have been nominated), but I think it’s a shame that Heart didn’t make the final list of inductees. I would have happily swapped out the Red Hot Chili Peppers to make room. John Soeder has […]
Tom Petty to headline Isle of Wight in 2012
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers will be the Friday night headliner next year at Isle of Wight on June 22nd. Considering that Bruce Springsteen and some bunch of guys that call themselves the E Street Band will also be there headlining on Sunday, June 24th, a trip to Isle of Wight is looking mighty attractive […]
The Muppets….Yaaaaaaay!
I had a chance to go see ‘The Muppets’ over the weekend and how cool is it that we can have a Muppet movie in 2011 that actually doesn’t suck? It’s pretty great to see the positive reception to this movie and whether or not it’s something that your kids will enjoy, I guess that’s […]
Pearl Jam fans…dig this!
If you’ve held off on purchasing the deluxe editions of ‘Ten,’ ‘Vs.’ and ‘Vitalogy,’ today is your lucky day, because you can get all of them from Pop Market for $34.99. It’s certainly a nice price if you’ve been wanting to upgrade your PJ holdings. Me – I’ve already got ‘Ten’ – perhaps someone who […]
Daryl Hall, John Oates and a Fiero
This one’s near and dear to my heart for a couple of reasons. 1) I love Hall & Oates and 2) there was that one time that (in my mind) I almost had a Fiero. It was the ’80s (of course it was) and KWES (my local radio station) was giving away a Fiero. I […]
The Original 7ven – #Trendin
Morris Day and the complete original lineup of The Time recently released a new album called ‘Condensate,’ but if you missed the news, don’t feel too bad. The album has been released under the banner of “The Original 7ven” due to former Time associate Prince (he of the symbol, artist formerly known as, etc.) letting […]
Revisiting the ‘Girlfriend’ album with Matthew Sweet
In a time when both the music industry and the artists themselves are struggling to figure out a new financial model that works, the full album performance seems to be the latest carrot being dangled in front of today’s music fan. On a large scale, the idea has been overwhelmingly successful, because who wouldn’t want […]
Pearl Jam performs ‘Mother’ on Jimmy Fallon
Just in case you missed it…..a nice way to wrap up ‘Pink Floyd Week’ on Jimmy Fallon’s show. Also, from the previous night, Dierks Bentley performing ‘Wish You Were Here.’
