When you care enough to give the very best, you keep it for yourself instead. you share it with the ones that you love!
With the holiday season in full swing, we’ve been feeling pretty nostalgic about the past year. While sitting around listening to the new REO Speedwagon holiday release Not So Silent Night with my Popdose compadres Jeff and Jason, I suddenly had a thought. What can I do to make someone’s holiday just a little bit brighter?
The skies darkened suddenly, and there was a distinct rumbling in the distance, and suddenly I knew exactly what I needed to do.
Which is why I’m offering you the chance to share the joy of the new REO Speedwagon holiday release with all of your loved ones: Mom, Dad, your baby brother or sister and perhaps even a few distant cousins that might be visiting for the holiday.
All you have to do to qualify is send me an email, and tell me what it would take for you to bring your ship into the shore, and throw away the oars forever?
I’ll pick the most creative response to that question, and send the winner a copy of the REO Speedwagon disc. As a bonus, I’ll throw in a copy of Rob Halford’s new holiday release as well. Metal!
Good luck!
Congratulations to Allison, who is the winner of our previous contest for the Clarence Clemons “Big Man” book. Congrats, Allison!
Thanks to Annie Zaleski for contributing the idea on how to give this CD away. Unfortunately, for some reason, she threw the oars at my head – that's not how it's supposed to go!
REO Speedwagon actually has a new video game — “Find Your Own Way Home” — just out that is very tied into the new holiday album and has some unreleased material.
You can actually check the game at http://www.TheRom.com. I've played it. It's pretty solid. A new way the band is trying to reach fans. And if you download the game (which costs about $8), you get chances to win REO ticket and meet-and-greet packages with the band, and you also get 25% off the new Silent Night album.
