Just the other day, Jose and I were talking about the Eels. . .definitely seem to have influenced some bands we enjoy, such as Grandaddy and Earlimart, yet rarely get any cred*
Kelly, I’ll agree with you on that – and the live DVD that they put out a few years ago doesn’t even begin to capture how great the live shows were that they played in the mid 90s.
Eels are yet another great band that I caught at the old Peabody’s.
If you guys like ’em, you might dig hunting down E’s two solo albums from the early 90s – SO good.
