I saw this post from Stereogum, and laughed hard.

I liked this band. Hell, I still like this band, and will admit that this song is sitting on my Ipod, and I’ve listened to it within the past year.

I don’t think I EVER saw the video for the tune though, and now that I have, I’m more than a little bit embarrassed.

Who knew that Leisha from The Murmurs is on The L Word these days? Not me.

Or that she is the yogurt girl from the Yoplait commercials? Again, not I.

The commentary from Stereogum and the readers is good stuff, here are a couple of the choice quotes:

Sure you’ve heard the song….but have you seen ’em live? I did…..as part of a show sponsored by 107.9 The End at the Agora. The Indians (remember “Bed of Roses” from the Reality Bites soundtrack?) were also on the bill, and I’m a tad hazy on the headliner, but it might have been Dada. Lots of good End shows at that point…it gets a bit hazy!

What’s up with the chainsaws popping up everytime they censor the F-bomb?
