Cool Sale @ Blue Arrow Records + Vinyl Saturday!

The Record Store Day folks are having another one of their semi-annual Vinyl Saturday events on, um, Saturday, across the United States and perhaps even in parts of Canada – we didn’t get a chance to check in with our Canadian neighbors on that point.

Perhaps coincidentally, our pal Pete at Blue Arrow Records is having a sale on Saturday afternoon from 2pm-5pm.  During that time span, you’ll have the opportunity to go in the stockroom at Blue Arrow to pore through excess vinyl that can be yours at the cost of five albums for $1!

Now, we never need a good excuse to go to Blue Arrow, but the chance to nab a bunch of albums, five for a buck, sounds like a good enough reason to head to Waterloo!

Blue Arrow Records is located at 16001 Waterloo Road – hit ’em up!

Nationally, there are several vinyl titles of note coming out to celebrate Vinyl Saturday:

Vinyl Saturday

Notably, some group called The Beatles will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Abbey Road with a special vinyl reissue of the album that will be packaged with a t-shirt featuring the original artwork for the “Come Together”/”Something” 7” single, along with a corresponding poster.  This limited edition package will be released on Saturday, and is limited to 5000 copies total worldwide.

Also available:
