August Live Music Radness

Cleveland Bachelor offers up his picks for a bunch of upcoming Cleveland rock shows that you won’t want to miss!

P.S. – How did I miss the news that They Might Be Giants are performing the Flood album at their upcoming Beachland gig?

That is most certainly, completely rad!

Here we are, at the ass end of the middle month of summer. It is all downhill from here, and before you know it blizzards will keep us from hot dates and seasonal colds will knock us out for weeks at a time.

Until then, however, we rock. And the schedule for next month allows us to do so in style (as does an early look at the fall months). Here are the CB endorsed shows, in all their glory. And if you aren’t good with clues, the bolded ones are the shows I am really looking forward to.

  1. Oh snap. Japandroids at NTC. Been wanting to check this place out, and this seems like a great reason.

  2. Thanks for the heads up, BJ – You know I can't be in the same places that you are. You might hit me over the head with a plate. Ouch.

  3. P.S. – I'm with you, re: NTC – I almost made it out for The Winter Sounds last week, which would have been my first time there, but then I ended up skipping at the last minute. I hear it is a cool joint!

  4. THANK YOU for pointing out that TMBG is doing Flood shows! St. Louis is one of those too. Now i am SUPER stoked and have to go! Still a great album, listened to it a few weeks ago.

  5. the rural alberta advantage was just bewitching when i saw it earlier this year. i recommend going!
