Happy 3-11 Day!
3-11 Day always makes me smile....
It's been a few years since I've seen the mighty 311 in concert. Hopefully I'll get a chance to change that soon!
From the band's official website, here is the rundown of planned activities for 2009:
3-11 DAY (3/11) is a day of celebration & mutual-appreciation for the band & their fans! Since the special 3-11 Day Concert is traditionally held every other year, there is no show planned for 2009. But the celebration continues!...
ON 3-11 DAY AT 311.COM:

oh 3-11 day!!! This is also the day of birth for me mom. When I was younger and sported a 311 shirt she would get excited each time and remind me it was her birthday. I am not sure if she was testing my memory or just that excited about it.
You could have seen 311 a couple years back with me but it was threatening to rain and if I remember it poured all the way home on that terrible drive home. Oh wait, you slept like a baby in the back seat. It must be so good to be you. ha.
