Everything old is new again

It was 1993, and I was head over heels in love with Sarah McLachlan and her album Fumbling Towards Ecstasy.

Did I mention I was in love with Sarah?

In 2008, Sarah might be finally paying attention to the important “don’t cut your hair EVER” rule for girls, having gone from looking like Lilith Fair Sarah, back to the 1993 version of Sarah that I liked so much.

Not bad, not bad at all!

  1. I totally agree with you. Love the long hair. Have you seen the album cover for Closer? It is absolutely stunning.

I fell in love with Sarah on 1997 during the Lilith Fair tour and then discovered FTE soon after. I think she has been the most prolific artist of the past 25 years.

  2. Yeah, totally awesome album cover. I don’t know if I’d call her the most prolific, but she certainly has put out some good stuff in that time.

  3. Yes she has. She is supposed to release a new studio album within the next year or two. Will be interesting to hear this one as I am sure it will reflect a lot of her emotions from her split with her husband. It may have a chance to be one of her best works since FTE. I don’t think she could ever top that album but I think this next one could be close.
