My only complaint about this show is the proliferation of the (incorrect) title “Mockingbirdsing”.
It’s actually Mockingbird from the Cold Roses album.

What’s even dumber than posting the wrong song title on a fan forum is that nobody has corrected it. Furthermore, it was incorrectly lifted from the lyrics of the song which only make sense if you separate the two words (Mockingbird sing/ sing me what the lord was singing/ on the day he made the water/ the color of my baby’s eyes, etc.).

Sorry you missed it. It was a great show. Though I also thought it was a little odd that they kind of cramped themselves in, only using a small portion of the stage. Maybe they only had 6′ cables… Who knows.

Hanan – I don’t have nearly enough live Ryan Adams in my collection…but I have too much of everything else, so I guess it all balances out.

It’s one of my New Year’s resolutions to beef up my Adams collection!!

I love that Ryan is so lax about recordings…I have so many great live tracks from him. I can’t wait until December when I get to see him with OASIS…two of my favourite artists ever, it’s gonna be EPIC.

Made the trip to Cleveland from Chicago for the show, and I have to admit it was the greatest live performance I have ever seen. Never have I seen Ryan so ‘at one’ with himself and with the band – I’m so pleased he has found his happy place with the Cardinals, and this place where he can just be the music. That show will stay with me for many years to come (and it helps that it can now stay on my iPod too!)
