Stone Temple Pilots were 20 minutes late taking the stage. As a result, their scheduled 75 minute set was shortened to 55 minutes.

I’m not sure what they cut out of the planned setlist to compensate, but they did change up the opener since the last time I saw them (at the tour opener in Columbus in May, they opened with “Big Empty.”)

I live in Columbus, OH and am a huge STP fan, so naturally I was at thier first live show (Rock on the Range). Then, for the second year in a row, I drove out to Baltimore, MD to see them at Virgin Fest. They may have been late getting on, but they were phenolminal none the less.
