First of all, you need to understand that there has been an ongoing discussion/joke regarding roller skates in my world recently.

I was checking out former Tonic lead singer Emerson Hart’s Myspace page tonight, looking for the latest updates, and that made me want to surf Youtube a bit for random Tonic videos.

I see a video link for Open Up Your Eyes. Great song, I think to myself. Really should have been bigger than it was.

The story of Tonic defines the term “struggling in the music industry.” And I’m not sure that a video like this did much to help the cause!

Seriously though, if all you know about Tonic is If You Could Only See, you need to dig deeper. They put out three albums, and they’re all great.

Hopefully one of these days, they’ll do another album. Fingers crossed.
