There are some people that exist in a timeless holding pattern in your memories. Molly Ringwald is one of them. So I was naturally shell shocked to read that the greatest Ringwald I’ve never known is turning 40. I own all of her greatest films, I try and watch them regularly….how could this have happened?

Sigh.
